Sitting at a desk all day can take a toll on your body. Try chair yoga to relieve tension and boost energy levels.

If you spend most of your day sitting at a desk, you may experience stiffness, tension, and fatigue in your body. Chair yoga is a great way to stretch and strengthen your muscles, improve your posture, and increase your energy levels without leaving your chair.

Start with simple stretches.

If you're new to chair yoga, it's important to start with simple stretches to avoid injury. Begin by sitting up straight in your chair with your feet flat on the ground and your hands resting on your thighs. Take a deep breath in and as you exhale, slowly roll your shoulders back and down. Repeat this movement a few times to release tension in your shoulders and neck. Next, interlace your fingers and stretch your arms up towards the ceiling, keeping your shoulders relaxed. Hold this stretch for a few breaths before releasing your arms back down to your sides. These simple stretches can help improve circulation and reduce tension in your upper body.

But if you're new to this practice, it's important to start slowly and focus on simple stretches to avoid injury.
